Referrals from your Doctor

The myo Clinic’s physicians only see patients on referral from physicians licensed in Canada (except Quebec).   The myo Clinic physician provides the referring physician with a consultation report that will be added to the patient’s history on their full medical record.

Referrals are valid for six months.  A new referral is required if treatment spans more than a six month period.

Referrals are important because they

  • help ensure treatment is appropriate in context of a patient’s overall health situation
  • promote better treatment integration and communication between a patient’s health care providers
  • promote other physicians’ understanding of the benefits of The myo Clinic’s treatments and potentially will encourage other physicians to offer this treatment directly to their patients.

Doctors can refer patients to The myo Clinic using the Physician Referral Form.

Dr. Siren and other physicians working at The myo Clinic welcome the opportunity to answer medical practitioners’ questions about the scope and effectiveness of The myo Clinic services.
