This course is the first in the series of 4 courses teaching a therapeutic approach for chronic pain care known as myoActivation.
myoActivation combines release of muscles in sustained contraction, fascia in tension and relevant scars with the aim to resolve pain.
Participants will review clinical anatomy, practice new assessment techniques, and treat different regions of the body covered through the four levels of this course.
Emphasis has been placed on practical, hands-on skills. Participants will be expected to practice on each other.
The scope of the Level 1 Course has been carefully structured to provide solutions for common chronic pain presentations in treatment areas with very low risk of adverse consequences.
Understand the key principles underpinning myoActivation
Gain knowledge and skills around myoActivation safety and equipment use
Understand and gain skills to assess and treat using myoActivation methodology
Gain skills to apply myoActivation treatment for low back pain, knee pain and balance impairments
